The Numerical Tour of Fluid Dynamics, developed by Olivia Miraucourt and Simon Garnotel, aims to provide CFD community with validated algorithms for simulation of flows. We share also meshes to test these algorithms in differents geometries.

We are members of the VIVABRAIN project funded by the French Agence Nationale de la Recherche. Our work consists of simulating blood flows in cerebral vascular network but our codes are applicable for any type of fluids in any kind of geometries.

If you’re novice in CFD, don’t worry ! You just have to download the library for the finite element method FreeFem. This library is free and very easy to install. Once the library is installed, you can directly test our codes to solve the fundamental equations of fluid dynamics: Stokes and Navier-Stokes.
